West-Central Wisconsin Urology Position - Academic Affiliated Program

Established Growing Urology Program-Western Wisconsin. Need for a general urologist who would have additional interest in the areas of voiding dysfunction (interstim/botox/minimally invasive bph work/sling), pediatrics, or stones. 

Opportunity

• Typical work week is 1 ½ operative days (8 to 10 surgeries per week), 2 ½ clinic days for consultations and follow-up (2 days in person and ½ day virtual/video/phone), and ½ clinic procedure day (cystos, biopsies, vas, circ, etc). 
• 2 clinics-30 minutes apart 
• Rounding is at your discretion. 
• 3 urologists currently on staff
• Hours-8 AM until 4 PM on weekdays. 
• All nighttime/weekend calls and transfers from other facilities go to the doc on call. 
• Physicians are currently on call every 5th night and weekend. 
• Call doc is responsible for rounding on weekends on all patients (3 or 4 inpatients typically). 
• Clinic has 6 medical assistants and 6 nurses, 3 schedulers, an admin assistant to help with the clinic functions.
• Open to H1-B Visa candidates

Compensation 

• Compensation based on the Sullivan Cotter data for $ benchmarking.   
• 401K match and a defined contribution pension. 
• Time off is 22 vacation days a year. 
• 10 CME days are given and a CME stipend is offered.  
• At 10 years of employment, you are given a sabbatical of personal time of 25 days to use over the next 5 years.
