Urology - Mentor Medical Students and Residents in South Chicago

Join a busy, well-established urology hospital group located south of downtown Chicago, Illinois. This physician will mentor medical students and residents.  The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and work collaboratively with existing medical staff to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Ambulatory Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• Three days in clinic and two days per week in surgery with dedicated OR time
• Many procedures are performed in the clinic including Cystoscopes, ultrasound, prostate biopsies, BCG, etc. excluding vasectomies.
• Average outpatient clinic volumes: 15 - 25 per day
• Call 1:2 with residents taking the first call.
• Inpatient rounding as needed.
• Minimum two years of teaching and leadership experience.
