Advanced, Patient-Centered Urology Position in Central Florida

Advancing patient-centered Urologic Care in east central Florida. The group is adding a Urologist due to community and demand as well as the upcoming retirement of several physicians. They are a team of innovative healthcare professionals that provide compassionate, patient-centered urological care in a safe, collaborative environment. About the Facility

• The largest Florida based Urology practice was formed in 2014
• 37 locations
• 100 + providers
• 650 + team members
• Due to overwhelming patient demand, Urologists are needed in Oxford-covering Ocala, Leesburg, Inverness, and Lecanto
• Advanced Prostate Cancer Institute
• Urologists would have a partnership with American Kidney Stone Management (AKSM)
• All staff are employed
• They supply all equipment
• See an average of 65 patients/day
• New radiation center and medical office building
• Surgery Center
• Patient-centered staff
• Nurse navigator onsite
• 4 OR’s and 4 procedure rooms
• 20-30 procedures per half-day block 

About the opportunity

• Join 6 full-time Urologists + 2 APPs
• The primary clinic is in Oxford, Florida (10 exam rooms)
• 2 additional clinics in Ocala and Timber Ridge, Florida
• Rotate each day at a clinic
• 3 days/week in the clinic; 2 days/week in surgery
• See 40+ patients per full clinic day
• The majority of cases are performed at the surgery center
• 1:6 call-14 call days per month divided among 6 physicians
• Can be ramped up within 6 months
• Privileges at 3 local hospitals
• Robots onsite 

Financial Package

• 2-year employment agreement
• if collections equal the average of the partners after the first 12 months, eligible for a one-year track to partnership
• Partnership track-ancillary income once you become a partner
• Guaranteed base salary-$400K-$450K based on experience
• Call pay $900/hr.
• Signing bonus, education stipend, and relocation
• PTO-20 days and CME-$3K
• LTD and basic life insurance

• Only 1 hour from Daytona Beach and 85 minutes to Tampa
• Although other parts of Central Florida are more well-known as the locations of theme parks and beaches, Central Florida presents a peaceful retreat from the busy tourist destinations while still granting access to those destinations.
