Boston Area General Surgery Position - Great Work/Life Balance

A large multispecialty group practice north of Boston is adding a General Surgeon.

The group is part of the Beth Israel system that currently employs 35,000 individuals making it the second largest employer in the state of Massachusetts and consists of over 200 care locations including 13 hospitals with over 2400 beds and 5 ambulatory surgery centers.

About the opportunity

• A team of eight subspecialists provides care in Bariatrics, Vascular, Thoracic, Breast, Colorectal, and General Surgery
• One Nurse Practitioner supporting the practice
• 200+ bed community hospital, four times designated Magnet Status
• There is a Surgical PA Service at the Hospital (Monday-Friday coverage, with some weekends and evenings, also covered). Separate ASC and Endoscopy Suite
• Call coverage is 1:4
• Candidates should have an interest in robotics
• Approximately 4,300 physicians are associated with our medical center including 840 primary care physicians managing 1.3 million patients
