Cardiothoracic Surgery Medical Director opportunity in southwest Virginia. Join a team of 7 cardiologists, 1 cardiothoracic surgeon, and 5 advanced practice providers (2 dedicated CTS APPs).

Opportunity Details

• 5+ years of experience required
• Robotic lung experience is a plus, but not required
• TAVR experience is a plus, but not required
• Skillset in ECMO and Advanced Heart Failure (LVAD) to grow program is desired
• Must be Board Certified within 5 years of completing training
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Virginia
• Existing surgeon focuses on CABG, vascular work and TAVR
• Current volumes are 100-150 per year with goals to grow to 200-250 cases
• The call schedule is 1:2
• Dedicated CVOR staff
• 2 dedicated CVORs
• 1 dedicated EP lab and 3 cath labs
• 506-bed facility
• Accredited Stroke Center
• Accredited Chest Pain Center
