An internationally known academic medical center in Boston is adding an Interventional Radiologist

Practice

• Our diverse practice includes interventional oncology, tumor ablation, percutaneous drainage and biopsy, dialysis access, and trauma angiography
• IR division maintains a peripheral arterial practice and performs central venous occlusion reconstructions and IVC filter placement and removal
• Participate in aortic aneurysm treatment, both in the planning and in the insertion of thoracic and abdominal aortic endografts while continuing to participate in peripheral arterial interventions
• Our IR radiologists are active stakeholders in the Cardiovascular Center and have a strong relationship with Vascular Surgery, Cardiology, and Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Faculty appointment with the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor
• Help train the diagnostic radiology resident, give conferences, and be given academic time to support projects and initiatives in IR
• Access to two modern single plane labs, part-time access to a bi-plane lab, and shared use of a hybrid OR
• The section owns several ultrasound machines and there is a dedicated procedural CT scanner with CT-fluoroscopy
• Option of reading coronary CTA and cardiac MRI for which 3 new MRIs are on order
