OB/GYN - Teaching Practice in Seaport City of Connecticut - Bonus Incentives

Seeking an experienced physician with successful completion of ACGME-accredited residency program in OB/GYN for a Generalist position. The ideal candidate will be well-trained, confident in general obstetrics and gynecology, interested in training gynecologic ultrasound, clinical research methodology, and statistics, and experience with family planning services. 

Job Highlights include: 

• Join 6 Generalist Ob/Gyn Physicians (when fully staffed), 5 PA’s and APRN’s 
• Monday through Friday work schedule
• Must be Board Certified or Board Qualified for active certification
• Must have experience teaching residents and medical students
• 1 Overnight or Weekend Call Shift per Month 
• The call is shared with the other generalist physicians, hospitalists/laborists, and several community OB/GYN physicians
• The clinic has 8 general exam rooms, 1 ultrasound room, 1 procedure room
• Teaching Residents during clinical sessions including Labor and Delivery, Benign Gynecologic Surgery including MIGS, Clinics
• 2200-2300 annualized deliveries, 1500 plus GYN cases annually
• Need is to take the place of an exiting physician
