Western North Carolina Psych Nurse Practitioner Position- 3 or 4 Day Work Week

A leading provider of facilities-based medicine has an opening for a Psychiatry Certified Nurse Practitioner to join their behavioral health team. This provider will treat patients in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities located in Western North Carolina.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base salary based on experience plus productivity bonus paid bi-weekly
• Signing bonus negotiable

Job Details:

• Flexible weekday schedule
• 3-4 days per week with flexible shift hours. Generally, work six to eight hours per day.
• On rotation for call 7 times per month from 5 pm-7 pm
• Primary responsibilities will include psychiatric assessments, order diagnostic testing, developing treatment plans, collaborating within a multidisciplinary treatment team, and psychiatric medication management for adult and geriatric patients in large skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.

Requirements:

• Must have the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification
