A mission-driven multispecialty group located in Chula Vista, California, just 9 miles south of San Diego, has an opening for an experienced Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner.

Job Details:

• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
• The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be required to evaluate, develop, and treat adults (18+). Provide continuous and comprehensive services in office necessary for optimal mental health, prevention, and treatment of psychiatric disorders and health maintenance to patients in an outpatient facility setting. This includes the assessment, diagnosis, and medication management of mental health problems and psychiatric disorders.
• The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner shall work collaboratively with other medical and mental health providers

Requirements:

• Must have previous specialty-specific Psychiatry experience and experience using mood stabilizers and antipsychotics
