Psychiatric Consultation Liaison Service Nurse Practitioner - Central Illinois

A prominent healthcare system in Central Illinois has an opening for an experienced Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner to join their team. This nurse practitioner will serve as a member of the Psychiatric Consultation Liaison Service at the hospital.

Job Details:

• Collaborate with the Consult Liaison team to facilitate the management of complicated mental health cases
• Assess patients in consultation on medical/surgical units. Performs and documents history and mental status examination based on age and history of complex mental health and addiction issues
• Work with patients from Child through Geriatric

Requirements:

• Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification
• 2+ Years of experience practicing as a PMHNP in an acute adult/child inpatient psychiatric unit
• Be able to work with child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
