Nurse Practitioner for Established Oncology Clinic - Western Chicago

Western Chicago hospital-owned multi-specialty group seeks nurse practitioners to provide all aspects of care in a busy, established oncology clinic including chronic conditions, well care, and acute care to patients in a cost-effective manner with a focus on quality outcomes. The APP acts as a role model to facilitate and enhance the development of quality nursing care through evidence-based practice. The group admits patients to nearly 160 providers in over 20 specialties serving patients throughout the Fox Valley area.

Position Requirements:

• Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advance Practice Nurse.
• Master's of Science in Nursing with clinical specialty appropriate to the position.
• Current certification by the American Nurse Credentialing Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
• Maintains the State of Illinois and Federal DEA license.
• Must maintain Copley Memorial Hospital clinical privileges, if applicable
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with 2 years of experience in clinical specialty.
• CPR certification. 
• Excellent communication skills.

Compensation/Package

• The range is $55-$78/hour
• CME benefit - $1,500 per year with 40 hours of CME time
