Hematology/Oncology Physician opening in the Boston area - Academic Option

There is a job opening for a Hematologist/Oncologist in the Boston area at a teaching hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School. The Oncology/Hematology Division offers a range of clinical services, such as a bustling outpatient practice, an inpatient consulting service, and a fully-fledged chemotherapy/infusion area. The Opportunity

• Join the growing Division of Hematology/Oncology at a 217-bed hospital
• The division consists of 5 medical oncologists, oncology Nurse Practitioners, a robust Genetics program along with a full complement of oncology nurses and Nurse Navigators both in the office and in the infusion clinic.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population
• The group provides a unique blend of stimulating and rigorous academic medicine and teaching of both medical students and internal medicine residents while maintaining a warm and collegial day-to-day work environment in a community-based setting
• Incoming Physician will be eligible for a faculty appointment as an instructor, assistant, or associate professor at Harvard Medical School, commensurate with experience and qualifications
• We would be particularly interested in someone whose primary interests were in benign hematology, breast cancer, or genitourinary cancer
