Geneticist opening in Boston, Massachusetts

A large reputable academic medical group is adding a Geneticist physician to its downtown Boston location. The Division of Genetics is expanding its clinical program and seeking enthusiastic people to join its current team, consisting of a physician and 2 genetic counselors with a commitment from the medical system to hire 3 more full-time genetic counselors

Practice Description

• Clinical work includes inpatient consultations (mostly in the NICU) and outpatient genetics clinics (adult, pediatric, and cancer)
• The Cancer Genetics clinic is the primary referral site for three area cancer centers 
• There is a cytogenetic laboratory on site. A comprehensive molecular genetics diagnostic laboratory is in the early stages of being established
• Excellent opportunities for teaching in both didactic and clinical settings are available
