Family Medicine Opening 60 miles from New York City - Signing Bonus

Seeking a Family Medicine physician to join a busy practice in a quaint and scenic "small town" located in Fairfield County Connecticut. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate primary care physician who will provide comprehensive care in a team-based environment to our population of patients. This includes not only caring for acute and chronic conditions but working with multidisciplinary support staff to promote the health and well-being of our entire panel of covered lives. 

The job:

• Employed position
• Full-time, office-based position providing out-patient services only
• 2 Physicians, 2 Physician Assistants and 1 LCSW
• Fully integrated Electronic Health records across the network
• Off-hour coverage - Shared among multiple providers, phone-calls only with nurse triage
• Willingness to work variable schedule 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday between 8 AM - 5 PM
• See 16-20 patients per day
• Newly constructed building done 4 years ago
• Multi-Specialty Group setting including GI, PMR and Pain Management

• Base salary + incentive pay

Requirements:

• MD or DO with CT State License, Federal DEA and State Controlled Substance Registration
• Successfully completion of a Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Peds Residency
• Must be Board Certified or be Board Eligible

There are several options for schooling: parochial, public, Montessori and private. Many residents work and commute to New York City due to its proximity. Population is 27,560.
